Anyway, Nina is told by a psychic that her soul mate has passed by her repeatedly but Nina hasn't been aware of this. I know such a statement should make anyone incredulous of a psychic, but suspend disbelief. It's not called for in this well-told story. Wyatt allows both protagonists to have their own voice and present themselves to the reader. We learn about their strengths and weaknesses, those elements of their humanity that brings us nearer to each of them. Overall, this is a very realistic story with characters you can easily identify with. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future. Highly recommended for fans of the genre.
