Vampire Dolls The Legend of Adocinda

Everyone knows vampires cannot enter your home unless you invite them. But dolls are welcome in any home. Dolls are harmless toys for innocent children.

A lone vampire hunter witnesses an ancient ritual that moves the evil spirit of a murdered vampire, into a Victorian doll.

Adocinda, spurred on by her drive to subjugate humans and rebuild her vampire clan, now inhabits a new body. No one suspects the evil within the beautiful doll.

The police have no clues. In fact, they have more questions than answers. They need to stop this bloody killing spree. Families all over town are being murdered in their beds, seemingly while they sleep.

Alden fears he knows the truth, but even the hunters do not believe what he tells them. By the time they realize the truth, it could be too late. Alden, Jack, and the other hunters, are now in a fight for their lives.
Because… a beautiful doll is welcome in any home.

Author bio

L M Boelz a proud mother of two children and three grandchildren has had a fascination with legends and stories told around campfires since she can remember. She was always the first one to jump up and offer a chilling tale of what is really hiding in the shadows. After being asked by several people if she ever planned on writing a book; she decided to follow her passion and write down some of her stories. Lin decided the best place to start was with one of her worst fears as a child. No matter what her parents said, she was sure there was something hiding under the bed. Lin relates the authors havening the biggest influence on her writing to be; Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, and Sir Arthur Konan Doyle. The shows that influenced her most were; The Twilight Zone, Outer limits and The Night Gallery.

When asked what she believed made a good story she related that she believes to keep a book interesting you have to have just the right amount of plot twist. As a reader she likes to be surprised when something unexpected happens. Lin's favorite way to end a campfire tales is to ask; 'Have you ever ask yourself, what if it is not just a story?'

Excerpt from Vampire Dolls

Sarah could tell he was fighting to come out of his dream world. He was trying to escape the demons that were pursuing him through the labyrinths of his unconscious thoughts.

She again exhaled near his nostrils, forcing him to breathe in her intoxicating scent. Sarah watched as the long hairs covering his upper lip, swayed under the influence of her gentle breath. She could sense his spirit was strong, and it was trying to warn him of the real danger facing him.

David ran blindly toward the edge of an abyss, his attempt to stop before he fell was unsuccessful. He struggled against the sudden sensation of a rapid descent, which finally pulled him out of the depths of his slumber. Dazed and still half submerged in a thick fog, David opened his eyes.

To his mind, it seemed to be an eternity that he lay staring into the glassy eyes of a porcelain doll perched upon his chest. In reality, it was only seconds after he woke, before Sarah sank her fangs into his neck.
